In the United States, more than 30 universities operate curling teams, mostly as club sports.
These teams are managed under USA College Curling and compete annually in the

In Korea, curling was introduced relatively recently, but since the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics,
interest in the sport at the college level has grown significantly.
Although the number of teams is still limited, universities collaborate with regional curling
federations and local clubs to train and compete.
To promote exchange and competition among students, nationwide college curling
tournaments are now being organized.
